David attended Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia; Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ; and The University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, earning degrees in Forestry and Urban Planning.

    During the 1970's he worked as Forest Firefighter for 6 years in the mountains throughout the west. In 1980 David researched and wrote a book on Urban Forestry in Arizona for the State Land Department and The University of Arizona in 1980.

    With years of experience and education in Forestry and Urban Planning, David founded Arid Plant Designs in 1980. Since then Arid Plant Designs has completed over 30 entire neighborhoods for Richmond American Homes and hundreds of yards around Tucson, creating a lot of beautiful landscapes and even more satisfied customers.
